Sunday Bluegrass: Poor Man's Whiskey

Words By J-man

Poor Man's Whiskey Live at Hopmonk Abbey on April 1, 2011.

There are a lot of interesting options to gain attention and recognition. Often times bands will jump on a previously established band's material. Folks are then already familiar with words and general melodies, breaking down an instant barrier for a lesser name band. Bay Area's Poor Man's Whiskey has done just that and incorporated the music of Pink Floyd into their catalog and released an album in 2009 titled "Dark Side of The Moonshine".

Enjoy the above Archive recording from April 1st, 2011 in Sebastopol, CA. Explore the rock, folk, psychedelic side of bluegrass and Poor Man's Whiskey...
